Meet your teacher

Hi, I'm Jaemin.

I've been playing guitar for over 7 years. I lead worship at my local church youth group — music has shaped my life, and I love helping younger players discover that same joy.

My teaching style is patient, structured, and personal. Every student starts with a solid rhythm-and-progression foundation, then we move into the songs and styles you actually want to play — whether that's acoustic finger picking style, worship, classic rock, or shredding electric.

How lessons work

A clear path from first chord to favorite song.

Foundations first

Every student starts on a basic rhythm and progression book to build clean technique and confident timing.

Then your songs

Once the basics click, lessons open up to the styles and songs you love — worship, rock, finger picking style, and more.

Acoustic or electric

Both welcome. We'll match the instrument and approach to your goals and personality.

In-person or online

Same quality of instruction either way. Online lessons use clear video and screen-sharing for chord diagrams.

FAQ

Common Questions.

What ages do you teach?+

I specialize in teaching students ages 7 to 18. My approach is designed to keep young learners engaged while still building serious musical skill.

My student is a complete beginner — is that okay?+

Absolutely. Every student starts with a basic rhythm and progression book that builds clean fundamentals. We move at the pace that's right for your student.

Do you teach acoustic or electric guitar?+

Both. We'll choose what fits your student's interests and goals best — and you can switch or do both as they grow.

Are online lessons just as effective?+

Yes. Online lessons use clear video and screen-sharing for chord diagrams and tabs. Many of my students prefer the convenience.

What does my student need to start?+

They need a guitar and a tuner or tuner app. For online lessons, they'll also need a computer with a camera and an internet connection.
